If your choice for Christmas holiday is Malta this year, look no further than its capital, Valletta, to ring in the New Year in style. You could enjoy a pleasant meal or drinks at one of the island’s top restaurants or join the capital’s fabulous New Year’s Eve party.

Every New Year’s Eve, Valletta transforms its streets into a massive party, celebrating the past year and starting the new off the in style.

Malta’s top local artists and bands will once again come together in St.George’s Square. They will be joined by international artists, street artists and aerial performers, who, together, promise to keep huge crowds entertained all night long.

Gozitan band The Travellers will be headlining the event, hosted by Vibe FM’s Nate, Frank and Rossi. Other leading names including Ozzy Lino and the Candy Moths, Kevin Paul Calleja, Kurt Calleja, and Gaia Cauchi.

Valletta’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are a perfect closing to the festive season in Malta, but until then you can still enjoy the Christmas lights in the capital’s main streets, the Christmas tree in Castille Square and Nativity Scene in Piazza de Valette.

The event is being organized by the Valletta Cultural Agency, G7 Events, and the Valletta Local Council.
