The Notte Bianca is the largest cultural event in Malta, where its Capital opens its door for a night-long celebration of culture, history, food, story-telling, and many more. All over Valletta, public buildings, state palaces, Auberges and churches become home to art exhibitions, theatrical performances and interactive performance….all for one night only.
The 5th October will be the 14th edition of Malta’s Notte Bianca. Valletta’s famous St. George’s Square will once again play host to a list of local artists who will surely attract thousands. Oh, and the best thing about Notte Bianca? ALL its events and activities are free of charge!

You can catch a dance show or literary event in one of Valletta’s other squares or open spaces, or if you’re more of a shopaholic than a culture vulture, Valletta’s shops always extend their hours for Notte Bianca, so you can grab the best bargains anyway! Make sure to also treat yourself at the end of it all, and do not worry about not finding somewhere for a quick bite- all restaurants extend their service hours for the festival.
