Full solidarity with the policemen and the police force.
The videos doing the rounds on social media show in the most graphic of ways the violence meted out on two policemen in Hamrun by a group of male and female thugs.
No matter what the reason was there is never any excuse for inflicting violence on policemen whose job it is to maintain law and order. If ever it can be far worse it is also the height of thuggery and bullying when a mob approaching a dozen people attacks physically two police officers doing their duty.
MHRA offer their full solidarity to the two policemen assaulted by this group of thugs and to the police force in general who are the guardians of our law and order.
MHRA trusts that the judicial process will be expedited. Clearly this is an attack on our most important institution that is responsible for our law and order.
