EU call for proposals: €4M to reduce FOOD WASTE (Deadline 24 September)

The European Commission has published today (via its European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) ) a call for proposals on food waste reduction.

For a total budget of € 4 000 000 under the Single Market Programme, the purpose of the call is to support EU stakeholders in taking actions to address consumer food waste (both in- and out of-home), including actions such as behavioural change interventions, education and training, the elaboration and implementation of food waste prevention guidelines, food waste monitoring programs, awareness raising campaigns and communication materials, and development of new business models.
