Morocco | Hamid Bentahar Elected New President of the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT)

Hamid Bentahar was elected the new President of the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), in Marrakech, Morocco, during the Annual General Assembly.

Promoting novelty, creativity and rebuilding a sustainable future, Hamid Bentahar together with Hicham Mhammedi Alaoui have succeeded over outgoing Abdellatif Kabbaj and Fouzi Zemrani, in the election and have been elected for a 3-year term as President and Vice-President of the National Confederation of Tourism with 139 votes out of 142.

“It is with great emotion that I assume today this position of president of our National Confederation of Tourism, our home to all and I understand all the responsibility that this implies in this unprecedented economic context”, said Bentahar in his first speech after being elected as President.

Bentahar is also President of the Regional Tourism Council of Marrakech-Safi, CEO of the Accor Gestion Maroc group and Senator of the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation.
