The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) commends the Government of Malta for leading and launching Vision 2050, an important national milestone that reflects collective ambition and responsibility.
Vision 2050 is not only a policy framework; it is a celebration of the Maltese people, of all those of goodwill who want to ensure that what has been achieved to date is not lost, but refined and strengthened for the benefit of present and future generations.
Malta has built significant economic opportunities over the years, particularly through tourism, entrepreneurship, and international engagement. The task ahead is to elevate these achievements, improving quality, sustainability, innovation, and standards of living across all sectors.
MHRA President Tony Zahra stated:
“Vision 2050 must be about safeguarding progress while raising our national ambition. It is about ensuring that growth translates into a better quality of life for all. What we have built together as a country must now be strengthened with discipline, foresight, and unity.”
MHRA reaffirms its commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure Vision 2050 delivers lasting prosperity, protects Malta’s identity and beauty, and secures a stronger future for the nation.
