A delegation from the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) Council led by President Tony Zahra and CEO Andrew Agius Muscat held a meeting with Minister of Tourism Hon Clayton Bartolo, and newly appointed Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism Anthony Gatt.
During the meeting, President Tony Zahra congratulated Minister Bartolo for his reappointment of Minister of Tourism and pledged that MHRA will keep on building a constructive relationship with Minister Bartolo together with tourism public officials within his Ministry by exploring avenues for further collaboration in the sustainable recovery of the tourism industry especially now as we are at a challenging juncture because of issues related to COVID-19, climate change, the war and global inflation.
Minister Clayton Bartolo reiterated that his Ministry looks forward to continue working closely and constructively with the Association for the benefit of the tourism, travel and hospitality sector.
