The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) congratulates the two new Michelin Stars restaurants Bahia in Lija and ION – The Harbour, in Valletta, who has joined De Mondion, Under Grain and Noni in Malta Michelin restaurant line-up.

Bahia, ION-The Harbour, Noni, UnderGrain and The De Mondion restaurants have been awarded one Michelin Star each along with another 26 local restaurants who have been given official recognition for maintaining a high-level in the quality of the food they serve and in the service they provide. Malta has reconfirmed the stamp of quality in line with the 32 countries already covered by the Michelin Guide.

MHRA believes that being listed in the Michelin Guide has a huge pull in terms of bringing guests to a restaurant, as they will be offered superb quality cuisine made with the finest ingredients. The results reconfirm the tangible efforts by restaurateurs and stakeholders of the tourism sector in putting our hospitality services and the Maltese Islands on the map for international quality tourism.
